  • Charles Miller:

    Pastor Phil,
Cindi and I enjoyed visiting your fellowship Sunday morning with our son and daughter-in-law. The spirit of the church seems to be loving and joyful, and I do appreciate what you are seeking to accomplish. When we first formed our fellowship, community, as spoken of by Francis Schaeffer, was one of the key attributes for which I was praying and working. A very legalistic attitude eventually became quite apparent in some and community went by the wayside.

I pray that the Lord will guide the church into unity, community, and love without losing sight of the absolute truth of Scripture and its authority over practice.

If Jonathan and Whitney continue to visit HCBC, no doubt we will see you again in the coming months. God bless you.
